Since the age of 10, I have been astonished by the force of nature. As a child whenever there was a blizzard or big storm on the way I would be awake at 5:00 am to see what transpired the night before and see what was next.
My first research into meteorology was borrowing books from the library, then when the internet came along I flooded myself with weather information and taught myself as much as I could about the weather.
